Lendermarket Review – A Personal Experience
Recent news:
In December 2024 Lendermarket secured authorisation from the Central Bank of Ireland to operate as a Crowdfunding Service Provider under EU Regulation. Therefore, I again recommend investing in Lendermarket.
Since March 2025 complains in trustpilot about late loans has almost stopped.
After 10 months of delay all my loans were paid back including penalty interest in September 2024. I withdrew most of my funds and invested in a few more loans, just to see what happend. They were paid back on time and I have now invested €350 in short term loans and I havn’t experienced any serious delays since.

Lendermarket was founded in 2016 by the Creditstar Group and is providing consumer and real estate loans. I have invested since may 2023. From November 2023 to September all my loans were delayed. Now they are all paid back and my new 30 days investments has been paid back in time.

My advise
The high-interest rates are tempting, but I would keep an eye on late loans and limit my investment amount for a while, only investing in short-term loans. The loan originator Creditstar, which provides most loans, seems to have a liquidity problem. Additionally, the Creditstar Group was the founder of Lendermarket.
