Crowdpear Review – A Personal Experience

Crowdpear Crowdlending Platform

Crowdpear crowdlending marketplace recently commenced operations in December 2022. I opted to invest in it immediately because it is owned by my favorite platform, Peerberry, and it is regulated under MiFID II, enhancing its safety compared to most crowdlending platforms.

Offering loans in real estate, business, and refinancing, it serves as a valuable supplement to personal loans on other crowdlending platforms. Furthermore, the website is highly user-friendly. Since January 2023, I have received a 10% interest on my investment.

  • Buyback guarantee: No. The loans are secured by mortgage or other guaranties. Go for First rank mortgage
  • Diversity: Poor. But as supplement to crowdlending marketplaces with consumer loans, Real estate and business loans are good supplements
  • Late loans: one out of my five loans has been late since March 2024. The property has been sold on an auction, but I don’t know yet how much I will get recovered.
  • Defaulted loans: I haven’t experienced any – but one in recovery.

My advise

  • I recommend diversifying your investments by incorporating some real estate, and Crowdpear appears to be a very secure option. This is especially true due to the opportunity for an early exit in the secondary market.
